Pennsylvania Notary & Mobile Service Fee Schedule

Martin HR & Notary is committed to providing professional, convenient, and transparent mobile notary services.

Pennsylvania notarial fees are established by state law.

Mobile travel and administrative fees are separate from notarial fees and are disclosed prior to the appointment.

Pennsylvania Notarial Fees

(Maximum fees authorized by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.)

• Acknowledgment (First Signature) — $5.00

• Each Additional Signature — $2.00

• Oath or Affirmation — $5.00

• Verification on Oath or Affirmation (Jurat) — $5.00

• Witnessing or Attesting a Signature — $5.00

• Certifying or Attesting a Copy — $5.00

• Protest of Negotiable Instrument (Per Page) — $3.00

Mobile Travel Fees

Travel fees are separate from notarial fees and are based on one-way travel distance.

• Up to 10 Miles — $25.00

• 11–20 Miles — $45.00

• 21–35 Miles — $70.00

• 36–50 Miles — $95.00

• 51–120 Miles — $95.00 plus $1.00 for each mile over 50 miles

• Maximum Travel Distance — 120 Miles

Additional Service Fees

• Evening Appointment (After 6:00 PM) — $20.00

• Saturday Appointment — $25.00

• Sunday or Federal Holiday Appointment — $35.00

• Emergency / Expedited Appointment (Requested within one (1) hour of the desired appointment time) — $50.00

• Waiting Time (After First 15 Minutes) — $15.00 per additional 15-minute increment

• Scan to Email — $5.00

• Fax Service — $2.00 (First Page), $1.00 Each Additional Page

• USPS Certified Mail (Documents Only) — $20.00

• Overnight Shipping Coordination (Documents Only) — $50.00

Note: The Emergency / Expedited Appointment Fee replaces the applicable Evening, Saturday, Sunday, or Federal Holiday surcharge. It is charged in addition to applicable travel fees and Pennsylvania statutory notarial fees.

Mobile Service Limitations

• Mobile notary services do not include document printing or photocopying.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring all documents are printed, complete, and ready for notarization before the appointment.

• Shipping services are available for documents only.

• Mobile service is limited to a maximum of 120 miles one way from the business location.

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

An itemized receipt will be provided for every transaction. Receipts will separately identify:

• Pennsylvania statutory notarial fees

• Mobile travel fees

• Administrative fees (if applicable)

• Total amount paid

Service Policies

• Pennsylvania notarial fees are established by state law.

• Mobile travel fees and administrative fees are separate from notarial fees and will be disclosed and agreed upon before the appointment.

• Travel fees compensate for travel time and expenses and become non-refundable once the Notary has departed for the appointment location.

• Travel fees remain due if the notarization cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the Notary's control, including:

• Failure to provide satisfactory identification.

• Incomplete, incorrect, or missing documents.

• A signer declines or refuses to sign.

• A signer is not aware, willing, or competent to execute the document.

• The requested notarization cannot be completed in accordance with Pennsylvania law.

• Appointments delayed more than 15 minutes without prior communication may be subject to waiting time fees or cancellation.

• Cancellations made after the Notary has departed for the appointment location are subject to the applicable travel fee.

• Martin HR & Notary reserves the right to refuse any notarization that does not comply with Pennsylvania law or accepted notarial standards.

Identification Requirements

All signers must be personally present and provide satisfactory identification as required by Pennsylvania law. Acceptable identification generally includes a current government-issued photo ID containing the individual's photograph, signature, and physical description.
